Alex Vance is a Film Producer and Director with Mètis (First Nations) and Caribbean heritage. Her first film, I Dare You (2015), a coming of age thriller, premiered at the Cannes 2016 Film Market through Telefilm’s Not Short on Talent Program. Alex began her work in production as a production assistant and worked her way up to managing production as a 2nd Assistant Director on The CW’s The Flash, Supergirl, and in various support roles on Resident Alien, iZombie, Turner & Hooch, Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency, and Continuum. She has most recently been producing with Justice Creative on the horror/mystery feature film Dark North, which features a split-heritage indigenous lead.
